“Reversing?” Type 2 Diabetes

Ted Talk – “Reversing Type 2 Diabetes Starts with Ignoring the Guidelines” by: Sarah Hallberg”

This is a great video explaining how improve type 2 diabetes. Stop using medicine to treat something that can be treated with food! I do not necessarily agree that Type 2 Diabetes can always be reversed, but I do like her guidelines for dealing with insulin resistance.

Her Rules for Eating:

  1. If it says “light”, “low fat” or “fat free” it must stay in the grocery store
  3. Don’t eat anything you don’t like
  4. Eat when you are hungry. Don’t eat when you’re not.
  5. NO GPS – No grains, potatoes or sugar.
