AIP Friendly/Paleo Pizza Crust

A thin and crispy crust. I love it.



  • 1/3 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup arrowroot starch
  • 3 T water
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • Choose either:
    • Paleo option
      • 2 eggs
      • 2 tsp psyllium husk powder, ground (more if needed)
    • AIP friendly option
      • Gelatin egg (To replace each egg: Dissolve 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin in 1 tablespoon cold water, then add 2 tablespoons boiling water.)
      • 1-2 T arrowroot starch


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer except for eggs and psyllium husk powder.
  3. Paleo option: Add eggs and psyllium husk powder and mix on medium until a dough is formed. AIP friendly option: Add gelatin egg and mix on medium. If dough is too wet, add extra arrowroot starch 1/2 T at a time until dough consistency is formed.
  4. Place dough between greased parchment paper on round pizza sheet and spread until it can’t no more. Pull off top parchment sheet.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10 min. Add toppings and place back in oven raised to 400F for  5-7 minutes.
